PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily perform an appropriate failure prediction.;SOLUTION: A failure prediction server includes: storage means for storing item information in which items of information included in operational information are set, and a threshold used for determining whether or not the operational information represents a sign of failure; latest operational information acquiring means for acquiring latest operational information stored in an operational information database; information extracting means for extracting, based on the item information, operational information whose item values set in the item information are equal to those of the latest operational information, from the operational information database; and notification information creating means for creating notification information related to the failure prediction based on a difference between the value of a predetermined item in the latest operational information and a value of the predetermined item in the extracted operational information, and the threshold.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
