PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a hand or a finger or the like from being pinched between the bottom rail of a sash and the lower frame of a window frame when the sash is lowered and closed in a double-hung sash.;SOLUTION: A balancer device for generating upward force to be balanced with downward force by sash weight is provided between the sash and the window frame. While the lead of a spiral part of the balancer device is gradually increased in an arithmetic progression manner from a full open position of the sash to a closed position, the lead when the sash is lowered to a finger pinch prevention position is same as or smaller than the lead before the finger pinch prevention position. Thus, at the finger pinch prevention position, the upward force by the balancer device becomes larger than the downward force by the weight of the sash, the movement of the sash is braked, and the sash is tentatively stopped at the finger pinch prevention position.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
