PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator confinement monitoring device capable of shortening time from detection of a confinement failure to notification to a monitoring center by using a communication line.;SOLUTION: The elevator confinement monitoring device includes: a confinement failure detection section 11 for detecting the confinement failure when a door closed state continues for a predetermined time after a car reaches a destination floor in response to car calling; a notification processing time storage section 24 for storing notification processing time T1 from the start of notification to a monitoring center 4 to the completion using the communication line 3, beforehand; a notification start timing calculation section 22 for calculating timing of starting notification to the monitoring center 4 so as to complete the notification to the monitoring center 4 when fixed time elapses after detection of the confinement failure of the car by the confinement failure detection section 11 by using the predetermined time, the elapsed time from the arrival time of the car, and the notification processing time T1; and a communication control section 23 for starting notification to the monitoring center 4 at the calculated timing.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
