PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately estimate wavefront speed distribution regardless of a distance to a wavefront to be a detection object.SOLUTION: A wavefront speed distribution estimation device 10b includes: an image generation unit 11 that generates both of an orthogonal coordinate echo image and a polar coordinate echo image at each of a plurality of timings; a polar coordinate calculation unit 15 that calculates a wavefront speed vector of an object echo by using the polar coordinate echo image when an echo distance to be a distance from an antenna 5 of the object echo to be a calculation object of the wavefront speed vector is less than a first predetermined value; and an orthogonal coordinate calculation unit 14 that calculates the wavefront speed vector of the object echo by using the orthogonal coordinate echo image when the echo distance of the object echo is equal to or more than a second predetermined value set so as to be equal to or more than the first predetermined value.
