Disclosed are methods and pharmaceutical compositions for reducing the frequency of urination. One method involves administering to a subject in need thereof an effective amount of a pharmaceutical composition comprising an analgesic formulated as an extended release formulation. Another method involves administering to a subject in need thereof an effective amount of a pharmaceutical composition comprising a plurality of active ingredients formulated as an extended release formulation.
