PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it difficult to lose a value as a decoration material while containing calcium, which is an element contained in bone and so on, in a decoration material such as a gem.;SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a gem 10A containing calcium, according to the present embodiment includes: bringing calcium material powder 20 containing calcium as impurity into contact with preprocessed gem 10 containing no calcium; and baking them at temperatures (centigrade conversion) lower than the melting point of the preprocessed gem 10 but equal to or 30% higher than the melting point while they are in contact with each other, thereby making the calcium to permeate the preprocessed gem 10 from the surface thereof.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
