PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a method capable of surely fixing a reinforcing bar by preventing leakage of a filler in an upward thickening method.SOLUTION: A fixing jig is for the upward thickening method for reinforcing a concrete structure by inserting a reinforcing bar and injecting a filler to an upward insertion hole formed by drilling the concrete structure, and comprises: a base plate which has an opening for inserting the reinforcing bar, is composed of a pair of division bodies divided so as to be over the opening, and is attached to the concrete structure such that the respective division bodies are freely brought close to each other or separated so as to enlarge or reduce the opening; and at least one fixture which regulates the movement of the pair of division bodies. By making a diameter of the opening smaller than a diameter of the insertion hole when the pair of division bodies are brought close, a part of the insertion hole is closed and the excess leakage of the filler is prevented.
