The present invention relates to a magnetic particle dispersant comprising a coated iron oxide single crystal and / or polycrystalline single nanoparticle, which has improved heating characteristics in an alternating magnetic field and improved non-linear magnetization behavior, and a nanoparticle aggregate thereof (Multi-core particles). When measured on a magnetic particle spectrometer (MPS), the particle dispersant exhibits a clear overtone structure, especially at harmonics. In addition, novel particle dispersants are useful for the treatment of iron deficiency anemia and therapeutic hyperthermia (especially passive hyperthermia in parts of the body), or for cell tracking and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).
