PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable remote maintenance for a remote terminal device CPU from a central device side by a loop relay system.;SOLUTION: In the control device and each terminal device, each SDLC line unit capable of 1 to N communication is provided. Remote maintenance functions, including a selection function of the processor CPU of the terminal device and a read/write function from/to the selected processor CPU are loaded on the SDLC line unit.
