PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating agent composition for sand mold casting which can reduce sagging streaks and can provide a coating film having a proper thickness.;SOLUTION: The coating agent composition for sand mold casting includes refractory aggregate, a binder, a sintering agent, water, a dispersing agent and sodium bentonite. The dispersing agent is a polymer or its alkali metal salt which has a structural unit derived from acrylic acid and/or maleic acid and in which a total content of structural units derived from acrylic acid and maleic acid out of total structural units is 90 mol% or more. The content of the dispersing agent is 0.04-1.2 pt.wt. relative to 100 pts.wt. of the refractory aggregate, and the content of the sodium bentonite is 1.5-15 pts.wt. relative to 100 pts.wt. of the refractory aggregate.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
