PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of efficiently creating nitrate nitrogen being an inorganic fertilizer component from an organic substance without performing an operation such as aeration which uses constant electric power, and to provide a method of manufacturing a plant cultivation solid medium in which nutriculture can be performed by directly adding organic fertilizer even in the case where nutriculture is performed in solid medium cultivation.SOLUTION: There is provided a method of manufacturing a solid carrier where microorganisms conducting concurrent multiple mineralization reaction are immobilized in which: a container is filled with solid carrier having breathability; microorganisms conducting concurrent multiple mineralization reaction, in which nitrate nitrogen is created by mineralizing an organic substance, is added to the carrier; then, the organic substance is added, and after that, in cleaning the solid carrier by adding water and allowing the water to flow out from the solid carrier, the outflow liquid is left to stand until nitrate nitrogen begins to be created in the outflow liquid; and thus the microorganisms conducting concurrent multiple mineralization reaction are immobilized.
