PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide primary and secondary drain systems of a nuclear power plant capable of securing installation space for facility instruments of a primary building, and the nuclear power plant.SOLUTION: Primary and secondary drain systems of a nuclear power plant include a primary building where a reactor coolant system including a nuclear reactor stored in a containment vessel is installed and a secondary building where a turbine system for exchanging heat with the reactor coolant system is installed. Drainage water drained from a safety system facility of a primary facility installed in the primary building is collected in a drainage facility installed in the primary building and the drainage water drained from a non-safety system facility of the primary facility installed in the primary building is collected in a drainage facility installed in the secondary building.
