PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for solidifying incineration ash of radioactive waste in cement in which an elution suppression effect equivalent to the case of using Zeolite is obtained, and a good effect is obtained in the long term elution.;SOLUTION: Incineration ash of radioactive waste is mixed with powdered articles (particle size: 100 nano to 1000 nano) derived from natural minerals superior in cation adsorbability, cement and water, and hardened. Specifically, powdered articles derived from natural minerals are added to the incineration ash of radioactive waste, and cement is applied thereto and mixed for dry mixing, and then further water is added by a gross quantity or divided in several times to be kneaded, and thereafter driven in a formwork and hardened. Further, granular powder derived from the natural minerals containing bentonite as the main component is used as the powdered articles derived from the natural minerals. For example, the powdered articles derived from the natural minerals are added to the incineration ash of the radioactive waste by replacing 10% or more of mass of the incineration ash with cement, and thereby a dissolution rate of radioactive cesium is suppressed to 20% or less.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT
