PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a file retrieval device, a file retrieval method, and a file retrieval program that can retrieve an output file quickly and accurately.;SOLUTION: A file retrieval device that retrieves a file from retention data including history comprises: a log information receiving unit 2 that is capable of communicating with a backup device (backup data storage device 16) storing, per account, retention data including history associated with backup date and time, and receives log information including the name of a person who output a file, a file name, and output date and time; and a retrieval unit 4 that selects retention data including the latest history of backup date and time before the output date and time regarding an account corresponding to the name of the output person included in the log information, and retrieves a file having the same file name as that included in the log information from the retention data including history.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT
