PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique capable of efficiently extracting the intersecting point of flow channels in the setting of the flow channels of a cooling medium.;SOLUTION: This mold cooling model making apparatus includes: a water hole extraction section 102 for extracting a water hole from the CAD data of a mold to which the water hole being temperature adjusting piping through which cooling water flows is arranged; and a flow channel altering point extraction section 103 for extracting the intersecting point of the extracted water hole. The water hole extraction section 102 extracts the coordinates of both ends of the processing hole constituting the water hole as the starting point and terminal of the water hole and acquires the segment connecting the starting point and the terminal as the center line of the water hole. The intersecting point extraction section 102 mutually compares the center lines extending in different directions and extracts a part, where the center lines cross to each other, as a position altering the flow channel of the cooling water flowing to the water hole.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
