PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a weight and a cost of a trim/tilt apparatus capable of coping with driftwood collision, by reducing the number of components.;SOLUTION: In a trim/tilt apparatus 20 for a marine vessel propulsion machine, a communication passage 53 for communicating a second tilt chamber 42B with a second trim chamber 32B is formed in a trim piston 51. The second tilt chamber 42B between the trim piston 51 and a tilt piston 71 is communicated with the second trim chamber 32B in a constantly direct manner. A shock blow valve 73, which is opened when the pressure of working fluid in the first tilt chamber 42A reaches the set value, and transfers the working fluid in the first tilt chamber 42A to the second tilt chamber 42B is provided on the tilt piston 71.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
