PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem at the time when a caisson type breakwater is struck by disaster that it is difficult to secure a diver and others engaged in levelling work on a rubble mound so that the disaster-affected caisson type breakwater cannot be restored early.SOLUTION: A caisson foundation stand for restoring a caisson type breakwater of this invention comprises a foundation stand 1 which is installed on a rubble mound 2 of the disaster-affected caisson type breakwater and a caisson 3 is installed on the top face of the foundation stand 1, and the foundation stand 1 is used for reinstallation of the caisson on the rubble mound. The foundation stand 1 is formed in a plate shape and a protrusion 5 for bite in the rubble mound is installed on the underside.
