PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for enabling a user to more conveniently and joyfully move a pointer to his or her desired GUI component with a feeling of reality, that is, a method for providing a GUI using a pointer showing a sensuous effect to be moved by gravity on a display and electronic equipment to which this method is applied.;SOLUTION: In this method for providing the GUI, when a pointer enters a GUI component, the position of the pointer is moved to a specific position in the GUI component, and while the pointer is moved to the specific position, at least one of an auditory effect and a tactile effect which can be recognized by a user is(are) output.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
