PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily, efficiently and accurately determine change of target RNA quantity in a cell.SOLUTION: The method for determining change of target RNA quantity in a cell comprises: a step to culture the cell in a medium containing a halogenated uridine to introduce the halogenated uridine into the cell and synthesize an RNA containing the halogenated uridine; a step to culture the cell in a medium free from the halogenated uridine for a definite time after removing the medium containing the halogenated uridine, and acquire cell samples with time during the culture; a step to isolate the RNA containing the halogenated uridine from each of the acquired multiple cell samples by using an anti-halogenated uridine antibody; and a step to measure the quantity of the target RNA in each of the isolated RNA containing the halogenated uridine, and compare the determined quantities.
