PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple method for producing a polymer with a poly-(N-cyanoethyl ethyleneimine) skeleton, and to provide a crystal formed of the polymer.;SOLUTION: In the method for producing a polymer with a poly-(N-cyanoethyl ethyleneimine) skeleton, a cyanoethyl group is introduced into a side chain via a Michael addition reaction of acrylonitrile to a nitrogen atom of a secondary amine of a polymer (A) with a straight-chain polyethyleneimine skeleton (a). In the method for producing a polymer crystal, the polymer is dissolved in an organic solvent, subsequently a poor solvent is added to the organic solvent, and the polymer is crystallized, or the polymer is dissolved in an acidic aqueous solution, subsequently an aqueous solution of a basic compound is added thereto, and the polymer is crystallized by controlling the pH to be in a range of 5-12.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
