PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple control method for browsing content data by a license system controlling a use of the content data distributed through a network, and a management/browsing program.SOLUTION: Index information paired with the content data includes content purchaser identification information, and content matching information generated based on a predetermined part of the content and terminal device identification information. The management/browsing program performs: a first collation for collating unique identification information of the terminal device with the terminal identification information registered in the management/browsing program; a second collation for collating the purchaser identification information recorded in the index information with registrant identification information registered in the management/browsing program; and a third collation for collating the content matching information, and displays the content, only when all the collation match.
