PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a initial cell search method and a device thereof.;SOLUTION: The initial cell search method includes; a primary synchronization sequence (PSS) detection step; a first consolidation step; a first metric value calculation step; a first threshold comparison step; a first control step; a first calculation step; a carrier frequency offset compensation step; a secondary synchronization sequence (SSS) detection step; a second consolidation step; a second metric value calculation step; a second threshold comparison step; a second control step; and a second calculation step.
