PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a kaolin dispersion for oil printing, wherein the kaolin pigment does not flow out from the inside of an ink in the printing using dampening water of strong acidity or alkalinity so that the blot of the prints can be prevented; to provide a kaolin pigment dispersion for oil printing, obtained by the method; and to provide an ink composition for offset printing, obtained by using the dispersion.;SOLUTION: There is provided a method for producing a kaolin pigment dispersion for oil printing, comprising: a step of mixing, with an aqueous mixture of a kaolin pigment, at least one surface-treating agent selected from the group consisting of an aliphatic amine, an aliphatic amine salt and a silane coupling agent having an amino group, the amount of surface-treating agent being 0.5-10.0 pts.mass based on 100 pts.mass kaolin pigment, and then agitating at 20-100°C to subject the kaolin pigment to surface treatment; and a step of adding, after the surface treatment an oil printing varnish to the obtained aqueous mixture, to perform flushing, and then removing the water.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
