Disclosed is an anti-SARS coronavirus agent which comprises, as active ingredients, a guava extract that is extracted from a guava plant with an extraction solvent mainly composed of at least one member selected from water and a hydrophilic organic solvent and an ascorbic acid component. Preferably, the anti-SARS coronavirus agent further comprises a persimmon extract that is extracted from a persimmon plant with an extraction solvent mainly composed of at least one member selected from water and a hydrophilic organic solvent. Also disclosed is a product containing an anti-SARS coronavirus agent, which contains the anti-SARS coronavirus agent.
