PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical sensor capable of completely inspecting a partition screen.;SOLUTION: The optical sensor includes: a light source for radiating a light-emitting pulse to an observation area; a rotation device for rotating a beam direction of the light-emitting pulse around a rotational axis directed in a lateral direction of the beam direction; a detector for detecting the optical pulse reflected by an object in the observation area; a housing including a transparent partition screen for the light-emitting pulse and the reflected light pulse to separate the inside of the sensor from a peripheral environment; a test device for testing translucency of the partition screen; and a control and evaluation unit cooperated with the test device to control the light source, evaluate the optical pulse detected by the test device and determine a distance from the object.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
