PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently collect buttercup squash seed oil from a mixture of buttercup squash (Cucurbita maxima) seeds and pith discharged from a production process of a cooked food etc.;SOLUTION: The mixture of buttercup squash seeds and pith are heated and dried, or heated and dried in a reducing condition, the incinerated, carbonized, or non-carbonized pith are removed, and the buttercup squash seeds whose seed coat surface is denatured by heating are squeezed to obtain the oil.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
