PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means of inexpensively and easily plugging a crack of existing concrete, which can be used even in a cold district because of its high resistance to freezing and thawing and densifies the existing concrete and thereby the durability of the concrete itself can be enhanced.;SOLUTION: In a method for plugging a crack in an existing concrete structure or an existing concrete secondary product, a water suspension of a calcium carbonate-based filler (agent A) is injected and impregnated into the crack part and this impregnation step is repeated several times so that the crack is plugged. Next, a dilute water solution of a lithium silicate-based surface modifier (agent B) is impregnated into the crack part filled with the calcium carbonate-based filler. Further, in order to prevent the occurrence of drying shrinkage crack after the plugging step, the lithium silicate-based surface modifier (agent B) is applied and impregnated into the whole surface of the concrete including the crack part.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
