PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a communication time and a reproduction time when transmitting changing image data to a remote location to reproduce the data at the remote location.SOLUTION: Among pieces of image data of a screen displayed at a site, only image data concerning a part including some change is converted into vector data and transmitted to a remote location via a network. At the remote location, the transmitted vector data is converted into image data for displaying. Also, information necessary for retrieving the image data is transmitted in association with the vector data, thus, a user can retrieve only data truly required to be displayed at the remote location.
