PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable telephone 10 for reducing its power consumption by allowing a processor 24 to set the frame rate of a moving image to be lower when the power consumption is increased.SOLUTION: A portable telephone 10 transmits a moving image being imaged to another portable telephone. Besides, a curent value to be output by a secondary cell 44 or an electric field intensity value to be output by a radio communication circuit 14 is detected as a value (a power consumption correlation value) correlated with the power consumption of the portable telephone 10. A processor 24 sets the frame rate of the moving image, based on the detected power consumption correlation value.
