PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make an anti-vibration zoom lens appropriate for so-called hill-climbing system auto-focus by ensuring a sufficient close distance while having highly variable power and satisfactory optical performance.SOLUTION: The anti-vibration zoom lens 100 comprises, in order from the object side, a positive first lens group G1, a negative second lens group G2, and positive third and fourth lens groups G3 and G4 of positive refractive power as a whole. The third lens group G3 includes, in order from the object side, a positive lens 7, a positive cemented lens 8 in which cemented faces 8a and 8b are formed, and a negative cemented lens 9. To vary from a wide angle end to a telephoto end, an interval between the first and second lens groups G1 and G2 increases, and an interval between the second and third lens groups G2 and G3 decreases. Focusing is carried out from the infinity side to the proximity side by moving the positive lens 7 toward the image side. Vibration is prevented by moving the cemented lens 9 to change the image position in a direction orthogonal to the optical axis of the cemented lens 9.
