PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monitoring circuit that enables abnormalities in the operation frequency of a microcomputer to be determined on the microcomputer side.;SOLUTION: A monitoring circuit incorporated in a microcomputer 10 receiving communication data transmitted from other systems 1,2,3, includes an input capture 25 measuring a time width of pulse in a waveform of an input signal Rx of the communication data, and an abnormality determination unit 22 which determines abnormalities in the operation frequency of the microcomputer 10 on the basis of the relationship between a bit width determined by a communication rate of the communication data and a time width measured by the input capture 25.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
