A method and system are provided for customizing a service to a user on a mobile technology platform. The method include determining which of a plurality of personas defined in the mobile technology platform is an active persona, wherein each persona of the plurality of personas is defined as a set of user preferences associated with an operating system of the mobile technology platform; and customizing a service to the user based on the active persona.
