Describes a method and apparatus for Controlling the Sulphide ore Flotation process which includes the separation of sulfide Minerals of pyrite in an Alkaline Environment created by the Cal.The Method comprises Measuring electrode potential of an aqueous slurry of Molybdenum ore and adjust the addition of lime based on the measured electrode potential to maintain the Molybdenum Molybdenum electrode potential of the slurry in a Predetermined Range.The Apparatus comprises means (6) to measure the electrode potential of Molybdenum and a Control Unit (7) for Controlling the addition of lime to slurry based on the Molybdenum electrode potential measured in the slurry.
