These cables are Tensioned through Auxiliary Springs mounted in parallel to the Friction dampers.Variable Friction dampers are semi-active control Laws for the variation of the Friction forces work in Mitigating the loosening of the cables. The provision is particularly suitable for the structures with high volume and weight restrictions may apply also in Civil and Mechanical structures.
