Patent of invention: production of edible waste from the production of ethanol. The present invention relates to edible ethanol production residues, for example, soluble distillers grains, which are produced which are low in, or substantially free of antibiotic residues. Antibiotics or bacteria present in edible residues resulting from ethanol production are rendered inactive by irradiation of edible residues.
