The invention shows a method of baseband processing based on an intelligent antenna and interference cancellation which includes: a. make a channel estimate to obtain a channel response; B. capture a useful symbolic level signal from the signal received by an intelligent antenna beam formation based on the channel estimate; ç. perform a channel reconstruction using the useful signal obtained and adding a scramble code to obtain the chip level reconstructed signal; d. subtraction of the reconstructed signal from the received digital signal; and. performing steps b through d repeatedly to recover a signal for all users. The method of the invention can resolve various multipath propagation interferences in a CDMA system with an intelligent antenna and obtain better results.
