Ultra-high performance self-compacting concrete, its preparation process and its use

The concrete is made from cement, a mixture of calcinated bauxite sands with a grain size varying from 1 - 10 mm, silica fume with 90 per cent of particles being smaller than 1 mcm and an average size of 0.5 mcm, an antifoaming agent, a super-plastifying water reducer, water and optional fibres. The silica fume represents up to 15 parts to every 100 parts of cement. The concrete also contains ultra-fine particles of calcium carbonate which, together with the cement, sand and silica fume, provide a particle size ranging over three to five classes.
