Carbonization material impregnated 1,3,5-triazine-2,4,6-trithiol has the ability to accumulate the emissions from the waste silver and metal ions with high efficiency. The invention discloses a method for preparing said material, the method of adsorption of metal ions by use of said material and a method for recycling metals using carbonized material impregnated with 1,3,5-triazine-2,4,6-trithiol.
