The invention relates to a bulk nanofiber materials based on hyaluronic acid, its salts or derivatives, and their density is in the range 1 kg.m.sup.-3.n.až 100 kg.m.sup.-3.n .. Preparation of such materials is a condition for the relative humidity in the spinning chamber and the viscosity of the dope. Bulky nanofibrous materials prepared from photoactive derivatives of hyaluronic acid can be crosslinked by UV radiation or heat treatment. For bulky nanofibre materials can be used to weld any shape nanofibrous formation. The described materials and formations may be used in medicine or cosmetics.
