The present invention relates to a device for observing dynamics of initializing and reversing phase of photochromatic color change in functional dyestuffs, which device comprises a source (8) of a measuring light beam (81), at least one source (9) of excitation light beam (91), an optical integrator (1) provided with an input (6) of the measuring light beam (81) into interior of the integrator (1) with at least one filter (10, 100) for screening the excitation component of the measuring light beam (81), at least one excitation opening (4) for the supply of the excitation light beam (91) into the interior of the optical integrator (1), a reference opening (2) for the supply of both the measuring light beam (81) and the excitation light beam (91) onto a sample (3), an output (7) of the measuring light beam (81) reflected from the sample (3), and a spectrometer (12) for evaluation of parameters of functional dyestuffs through the mediation of the measuring light beam (81) reflected from the sample (3).
