Heat treatment process of TRIP steel half-finished products

In the present invention, there is disclosed a process for producing half-finished products from TRIP steel wherein the steel half-finished product of a required shape is cooled down from austenite temperature to the bainitic transformation temperature and subsequently it is further cooled down to ambient temperature. The steel half-finished product of the required shape is cooled down from the austenite temperature to the ambient temperature directly, preferably at a suitably controlled rate of continuous cooling, without isothermal dwell.
