Each crawfish and/or mollusk (12) is accommodated in its own aquarium and a photographic record of the natural behavior made by the camera (5) is transmitted in the form of a digital signal into a computer (7), where it is compared and evaluated simultaneously with the digital signal of the non-invasive sensing element (8) for monitoring physiological function by means of a common evaluation software.
