A chrome coating deposited from a krombad based on chromium in the oxidation state +3 on a surface of the tin / nickel. This surface is very corrosion resistant and will not release nickel in amounts which are estimated to provoke sensitization according to EU Directive 94/27 / EC. The surface will also contribute to reducing the use of toxic chromium baths based on chromic acid (chromium in the oxidation state +6) in the industry. And thereby also reduce environmental and health risks associated with the production of decorative chrome-plated objects.
