The object of the invention is a method for producing a vaccine composition comprising at least aluminum oxyhydroxide (AlOOH) and at least a hepatitis B surface antigen, and a Haemophilus influenzae type b antigen. In accordance with the invention, the hepatitis B surface antigen is retained adsorbed on AlOOH, while the Hib antigen is retained non-adsorbed. To this end, the hepatitis B surface antigen is adsorbed on AlOOH to produce the AlOOH / HBsAg complex, then the specified AlOOH / HBsAg complex is mixed with the Hib antigen in the presence of cationic amino acids at a concentration of at least 100 mg / l and phosphate ions in a concentration of from 35 to 45 mmol / l.
