pThe invention relates to a process for the production of a composite component, comprising a) a support of a thermo-~..l asticc omposition, and b) at least one polyurethane layer in direct contact with the support, in which:(i) in a first process step the melt of the thermoplastic composition is injected into a first mould caviity and is subsequently cooled, (ii) in a second process step the cavity of the injection mould is enlarged and a gap is thereby generated, (iii) in the third process step a reactive polyurethane raw material mixture comprising - at least one polyisocyanate component, - at least one polyfunctional H-active compound, and - optionally at least one polyurethane additive andlor process auxiliary substance is injected into the gap resulting in this way between the thermoplastic component and the mould surface of the enlarged cavity, the polyurethane raw material mixture polymerizing completely in contact with the surface of the thermoplastic support to give a compact polyurethane layer or to give a polyurethane foam layer, (iv) in the fourth process step the composite component is removed from the mould cavity, the process steps following one another directly./p
