The invention concerns to a method of quick generation of second copy which may be a hardcopy or a softcopy, of any document/photograph/image with modifications such as change of picture mode like negative, black & white, sepia, embossed, pencil sketch, natural, etc., addition of picture effects like addition of watermarks, page numbers, date, headers, footers, title, etc., collate the images, change the orientation, etc. The method involves an image sensing/capturing/scanning device that performs the function of image capturing or scanning and can be interfaced with the computer. The scanned images are processed by a computer program/software having set with pre-defined settings by the user as per the desired output. On keeping the original document/image/photograph with the imaging device and pressing the "snap" button the device sends the captured image to the computer where the software/program processes it and modifies it as per the desired output settings and sends the modified/processed document/image to the printer for being printed directly. Thus if a user has a hard copy of his own colour photograph and wants another hardcopy of the same in sepia mode then he just have to select the sepia mode in the software and keep the original colour photograph with the device and on pressing "snap" button he will directly get his photograph printed from printer in sepia mode. In the same way the user can also make settings for other picture modes like natural, negative, black and white, embossed, pencil sketch, etc. and also add the effects like watermarks, page numbers, date, headers, footers, titles, etc.
