摘要
The invention relates to medicine, particularly to immunology and can be used to determine the degree of endogenous intoxication in children with chronic tonsillitis.According to the invention, the method consists in that blood is taken, serum is separated and are introduced 50 µl of serum into three tubes, to which are added 100 µl of borate buffer and 2.5%, 4.2% and 8.0% polyethylene glycol (PEG) solution, and into the fourth control tube are introduced 50 µl of serum and 100 µl of borate buffer, then the tubes are incubated for 15 min at room temperature, after which is determined the optical density at the wavelength of 340 nm, and the concentration of circulating immune complexes (CIC) in each tube is determined according to the formula:CIC = ODTT - ODCT x 1000,where:ODTT - optical density of the test tube, in CU;ODCT - optical density of the control tube, in CU,if in the tube with the PEG concentration of 2.5% the content of CIC is more than 10 CU, with the PEG concentration of 4.2% the content of CIC is more than 40 CU and with the PEG concentration of 8.0% the content of CIC is more than 240 CU is diagnosed a high degree of endogenous intoxication, if in the tube with the PEG concentration of 2.5% the content of CIC is less than 10 CU, with the PEG concentration of 4.2% the content of CIC is less than 40 CU, with the PEG concentration of 8.0% the content of CIC is less than 240 CU - an average degree of endogenous intoxication, and if in the tube with the PEG concentration of 2.5% the content of CIC is more than 10 CU, with the PEG concentration of 4.2% the content of CIC is less than 40 CU and with the PEG concentration of 8.0% the content of CIC is less than 240 CU - a minimum degree of endogenous intoxication.
