The present invention refers to a process for the production of briquettes from pellet fines, DRI sludge, DRI fines and dust from DRI dusting, which is useful to reincorporate the same to productive processes of steel, contributing to the reutilization of the sub-products generated by this process, also reducing the inventorying of this type of materials with its consequent contribution to improve the environment. The invention includes the crushing and sieving of the pellet fines and DRI sludge, the sieving of the DRI fines, the storage of the dusts of DRI dusting systems, the briquetting with roller presses using liquid sodium silicate and bentonite or composite Portland cement as binding agents, the sieving of briquettes, the shredding of the edges and residues of the fresh briquettes and the curing thereof for improving the physical properties of the same such as resistance. Once the fresh briquettes are cured, these may be stored or directly sent to the production processes of Di rect Reduction iron for the consumption thereof as a part of the feedstock in the reduction furnaces or reactors.
