Method for detecting reduced susceptibility to the antineoplastic adjuvant chemotherapy with the patients with the breast gland cancer

The result concerns the detection of reduced susceptibility to anticancer adjuvant chemotherapy with oxazophosphorine and anthracycline antibiotics in patients with breast cancer, according to which a sample of tissue material from the primary tumour of the thoracic conductive tumour is tested for the expression of the PIP gene in the isolated total RNA using the real-time PCR method, where the statistically low expression mRNA PIP indicates reduced susceptibility to adjuvanted cytostatic anti-cancer chemotherapy,of oxazophosphorine and anthracycline antibiotics. The result also reveals a pre-treatment test that allows patients to be rapidly classified in terms of response to adjuvant chemotherapy and thus to take appropriate therapeutic action.
