The invention relates to a multilayer nanostructured electromagnetic shielding system in the range of GHz-THz, with application in communications. According to the invention, the shielding system comprises a core having a hexachiral architecture of predefined geometry, made by nanostructuring, from thermoplastic composites with insertions of ferrimagnetic powders, a semiconductive/resistive thermoplastic foil and a metal foil which are applied onto the core, the foils being dimensioned depending on the wavelength of the electromagnetic field to be shielded and the core characteristics.
